KEY PERSONNEL
Mr. Cliff J.
Massey (President) I have been actively
engaged in the oil and gas business since 1991. My career started as a registered securities broker with
Kinlaw Securities Corporation (a NASD Broker Dealer) in Dallas, Texas. I have
served as Assoc. VP with Kinlaw Petroleum Companies, Assoc. VP of ESN.
Exploration, Inc., Executive VP of La Mesa Geoscience, Inc., President of
Discovery Exploration, Inc., and President of American Energy
Corporation. During my exploration experience, I have been involved in the
management of over seventy oil and gas drilling programs in Texas, Louisiana, New
Mexico, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Alabama, California, and the Gulf of Mexico,
with risk capital formed from both industry and private placement sources. I formed Massey Petroleum Companies, Inc. for the purpose of
locating and securing prime acreage, originating prospects with subsurface
geology and seismic surveys, and drilling and producing oil & gas wells. I
will operate and or participate with experienced and respected industry
partners, and suitable investors.
Mr. Richard L. Harding
(Vice President, Corporate Geologist) Mr. Harding holds a BA in Geology
from the University of Texas (Austin) as well as a B.S. and a Masters Degree. He
is a Registered Professional Geoscientist with the
State of Texas and a Certified Professional Geologist with the American
Association of Petroleum Geologists. He has been active in the Oil and Gas
industry for over 30 years, with extensive experience in the Permian Basin, the
Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin, the Fort Worth Basin, the Bend Arch, the
Laguna Madre of the Texas Gulf Coast, as well as New Mexico and Oklahoma. He has
successfully operated Harding Consulting, Inc. since 1998. As a third
generation geologist, he has benefited tremendously from the database of
information passed down from his Grandfather, to Father and his own experience,
that includes many old cable tool and drillers logs of hundreds of wells that
may not exist anywhere else because they were drilled prior to the Texas
Railroad Commission's production record keeping. The library of hand drawn
maps cover over 14 counties in Texas on many different geologic horizons and
have been instrumental in many successful drilling programs with many more yet
to be identified in the data. Mr. Harding has incorporated over 100 miles of
seismic data from survey through interpretation to supplement subsurface geology
to bring a higher success ratio to over 300 wells he has been a part of from
inception to completion. He is the past President of the Graham Geological
Society and was a Presidential nominee of the Southwest Section of the "American Association
of Petroleum Geologist". Rick is a member of the AAPG, membership #
250837, as well as a Certified Petroleum Geologist, membership # 4938, who are
governed by the "Division of Professional Affairs". He
is also a member of another elite group, the “Texas Board of Professional
Geoscientist”, membership # 1005, established in May 2001. What is and why
geoscientist licensure? In their words, “Licensure is a means to protect the
public, and profession, from unqualified and unethical practitioners of the
profession". Licensing establishes a degree of legal accountability for the work
product of the regulated practitioners. The State legislation establishing a
licensure program defines basic experience and educational requirements that all
licensees must meet. The legislation also sets civil penalties that can be
enforced on licensees determined to have violated the practice and ethical
standards required by the legislation”.
